A Simple Admiration to Madam Cory Aquino

Once again, Filipinos are united because of this Lady in Yellow. She has been looked upon by Filipinos because of her courageous efforts and determination in fighting for the Philippine democracy.

I was then in my elementary age, when the assassination of Former Benigno Aquino was been heard. And the story of Cory Aquino struggling for democracy had started. From then on I had witnessed the story of Edsa Revolution who had awakened the lives of Filipino for its democracy. Looking back I still keep is recall seeing people marching going to EDSA, nuns holding each other, praying the rosary and singing democratic song. . And the only tangible memory that I still have is this picture of me holding yellow stuffs, wearing yellow and striking a pose showing support to Cory Aquino.

I believe that Filipinos have become better because of Cory. She has touched lives and became a role model to almost everyone. Now that she had passed away, every one reminisce the good things that Cory had brought to our lives. Her kindness to her mankind had shown up that Filipino people are again joining force to support Madam Cory where ever she is now. I am pretty sure that Madam Cory is more happy and contented because she had shared her lives to millions of Filipinos and now she is joining God in his Kingdom.

One Friend
I always thought you were the best
I guess I always will.
I always felt that we were blessed,
And I feel that way, still.
Sometimes we took the hard road,
But we always saw it through.
If I had only one friend left,
I'd want it to be you.
Sometimes the world was on our side;
Sometimes it wasn't fair.
Sometimes it gave a helping hand;
Sometimes we didn't care.'
Cause when we were together,
It made the dream come true.
If I had only one friend left,
I'd want it to be you.
Someone who understands me,
And knows me inside out.
And helps keep me together,
And believes without a doubt,
That I could move a mountain:
Someone to tell it to.
If I had only one friend left,I'd want it to be you.

Quail Eggs-Kwek-Kwek

The quail family of birds includes edible game species. The Common Quail was previously much favoured in French cooking, but quail for the table are now more likely to be domesticated Japanese Quail. The Common Quail is also part of Maltese cuisine and Portuguese cuisine, as well as in Indian cuisine such as a bhuna. Quails are commonly eaten complete with the bones, since these are easily chewed and the small size of the bird makes it inconvenient to remove them.

Quail
eggs are considered a delicacy. They are sometimes used raw in sushi and often found in Japanese Bento lunches. In Colombia, quail eggs are less exotic than in many other countries, and a single hard-boiled quail egg is a common topping on hot dogs and hamburgers, often fixed into place with a toothpick. In the Philippines, kwek-kwek is a popular street food delicacy, which consists of soft-boiled quail eggs dipped in orange-colored batter before being skewered and deep-fried.

Quail eggs are often very high in
cholesterol.

Quail that have fed on
hemlock (e.g. during migration) may induce acute renal failure due to accumulation of toxic substances from the hemlock in the meat; this problem is referred to as "coturnism".

Bicho-Bicho

In the midst of global financial crisis and the continuous massive lay offs, most people these days are awaken to the truth that now is the time to take the lead. Now is the time to take on the initiative to end the decade-old phenomenon of rat race.

In today’s global economic status, everybody must be creative, resourceful and assertive. Laid- off workers must not mourn over the misfortune, instead see it as an opportunity to get up and move on. This is the right time to be your own boss, be an entrepreneur. You must not let this crisis pull you down and the rest of the working class. You can make a difference, you can create jobs. Yes, you heard it right; you can be the boss of your own business and at the same time provide job opportunities to others. All these are possible through FRANCHISING!

What is franchising? Franchising happens when someone develops a business model and sells the rights to operate it to another entrepreneur, a franchisee. The company selling the rights is the franchisor. The franchisee usually gets the rights to the business model for a specific time period and in a specific geographic area. Franchising is sometimes referred to as business format.

A simple kiosk or food cart can make dream come true. At present, many filipinos who had been permanently laid off from their jobs find something that can be a source of their living. Bicho-bicho for instances which is very common in rural areas to be their afternoon merienda now have turn in franchising which can be found in the mall to be leading finger food of many people. Can you imagine that? Its because of the financial crisis people turn to adopt what is available that their money can afford to buy. Who can think of simple bicho-bicho that someday it would evolve in the big market.

This only means that nothing is impossible in this world if we will just do a part to make our dreams a reality.
